The Rad Youth Internship program began in 2021, partnering with Home Youth Services and Community Action.

In 2022, we expanded our partnership to include the Chemeketa WORKS program with CTEC students. This program teaches 21st-century job skills to youth aged 14-18 and is expanding to a 2-year program for ages 14-25. Stay tuned for the launch before the end of the next school year.

The Future: Two-Year Development Program

The program features five integrated learning stations designed for marginalized youth aged 14 to 25, emphasizing strength-based learning principles. Participants gain cross-training opportunities in diverse areas, including button manufacturing, screen printing, event center operations, coffee shop management, and retail experience.

Gain transferable job skills, build confidence through hands-on learning, and develop expertise in business management while creating pathways to employment and fostering community leadership.
