Q: What’s the youngest you allow to make buttons at your shoppe?
A: If you can put a sticker on a piece of paper, you can make a button. Children develop at different ages, so it really depends on the motor skills of your child. Some of my finest button makers aren’t quite 2 years old yet.

Q: Can you host parties?
A: Yes, you can find out more about that on my Button Parties page.

Q: Will you do a pop up at my event, business, party, salon, day care, fundraiser, etc?
A: Yes! Everything is a case by case basis. The best way is to contact me through the contact form with the details of your situation and we can go from there. I really enjoy doing fundraiser events and in-home group home parties. I offer flat rates, or quantity rates

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: I bought my first 1″ button press in 2011, as I’ve grown the name and business structure has changed, but I have always been making the buttons. I’ve had help along the way from many different people, but the driving force has always been the inner child of Becka living her dream of being a button maker. The website has been built and rebuilt, and here we are now. Huge thank you to Running Rogue Media, they are responsible for the amazing website.

Q: How do I upload my image file for custom orders?
A: When you select the size and quantity for your custom order, there is an area where you can either drag and drop an image, or upload an image that will automatically attach to your order. If this does not work, please contact me through the contact page and let me know (glitches happen some times). We are also working on integrating a design app where you can create your own design with the templates we provide, or upload your own.

Q: Is it more expensive for full color buttons?
A: No. Black & White Buttons cost the same as Full Color Buttons.

Q: What size buttons do you make?
A: 1″, 1 3/4″, 2.25″, and 6″

Q: Can I get more than one design on a single order?
A: Yes. If you have multiple designs that you want, I will be happy to make up to 5 designs in one order at no extra cost to you. Just make sure to include how many you want of each design in the special instructions when you place your order. For example, if you place an order for 100 buttons and you submit 3 designs (butterflies, stars, and rainbows), be specific about what you want; 50 – butterflies, 25 – stars, 25 – rainbows. There is no extra charge for multiple designs in an order.

Q: How soon will I get my buttons after placing an order?
A: For orders of 500-1000 or more, It can take up to 1 week for me to ship out depending on how many orders I have, but on average I ship within’ 3 days of receiving payment. I like to get things done in a timely manner, and assume my customers feel the same. I hand press all the buttons myself, and can get about 100 done in an hour. If an order will take more than 3 days to process, I will send you an email and let you know.

Q: Can you design my button for me?
A: It depends. I’m always up to the challenge, but design is not my greatest strength. It’s a faster process if you already have your art ready to go. Doesn’t hurt to ask, I’m always willing to give it my best shot and if you don’t like it, I won’t be upset.

Q: Will you make offensive buttons?
A: I started off making buttons for bands I met when I was a touring musician. “Offensive” is relative to the person who is offended. I believe in freedom of speech and self expression. It’s either all okay or none of it is. Art is art and your words are your own. I don’t like it when people censor me, so I’m not about to censor others.

Q: How much did it cost you to buy a button making kit?
A: I paid about $350 to start up for my smallest press in 2011, but prices go up over the years, and the larger the size, the more expensive it gets.

Q: What size image should I send?
A: Send me a clear, crisp, average size photo, in a .jpg format or .PDF and I will size it down myself. Please do not send me an image already sized to fit the button, it will come out blurry and distorted

Q: What kind of detail can I fit on my button?
A: If ordering 1″ buttons, the less detailed the better. Keep in mind the end result will be a little bit larger than a quarter, but smaller than a .50 piece. If you try to crowd a bunch of stuff in there, it will look like a jumbled up mess that is hard to see.

If you’d like to have a more detailed image, I suggest the 1 3/4″ buttons or 2.25″ buttons. I don’t mind pressing samples in all three sizes if you aren’t sure.

Q: What’s the print quality?
A: I use a Xerox, Phaser 6510 Laser printer, so all images come out crisp, and consistent. I take a lot of pride in making buttons you will love.
